  9. Funny I started taking cold showers in the morning yesterday, January 10, so this morning's was my second. If I can do it, at 60, here in cold Montreal in winter, then you can do it anywhere in the world, at any age.
    As I was saying to a friend of mine, the shock of jumping into a body of cold water for a swim is far stronger than the shock of a cold shower, as thermal connection to the cold water when you are submerged in it is far stronger than to a mere sprinkle of drops coming at you. So, just do it. But prudence calls for a bathtub mat or similar stuff to lessen the risk of slipping and falling, as we tend to tense up and move jerkily for the first 30 seconds or so. After 1 minute you get used to the cold water and it doesn't bother you as much. After 2 minutes it doesn't bother you at all.

  10. A simple smile won’t help you much at all. It takes actual time and effort to improve your mood like spending time with your favorite person or people.

  11. I always finish off my hot shower with cold water it feels amazing. Boost my brain with lots of water nuts and dark chocolate and listen to music everyday
